국립한국교통대학교 Intelligent Database(지능형데이터베이스)는 컴퓨터소프트웨어학과 오염덕 교수의 지도 하에 기존에는 데이터 공학 기반의 빅데이터와 데이터베이스 기술 분야의 연구 및 과제를 중점적으로 수행해 왔으며, 현재는 AI와 같은 기술 트렌드와 데이터베이스를 결합하여 기술적인 발전을 위해 학습과 연구과제를 수행 중이다.
연구팀은 최근 ‘분산 스트리밍 환경에서 가변형 교통시설에 대한 표지훼손 탐지를 위한 지능형 시스템 설계’ 플랫폼을 개발하여 한국컴퓨터정보학회에 논문을 등록한 바 있다. 또한, 경찰청 이승신 부장과 오염덕 교수가 공동으로 2025년 07월 'AI·빅데이터 아키텍처 표준화를 위한 플랫폼 설계 기술에 관한 연구'를 주제로 논문을 등록하였다.
The Intelligent Database Laboratory at Korea National University of Transportation operates under the supervision of Professor Yeom Deok Oh in the Department of Computer Software Engineering. Until recently, the laboratory primarily focused on research and projects in big data and database technologies based on data engineering. Currently, it conducts learning and research projects aimed at technological advancement by integrating databases with emerging technology trends such as artificial intelligence (AI).
The research team recently developed a platform titled “Design of an Intelligent System for Detecting Signboard Damage in Variable Traffic Facilities under Distributed Streaming Environments” and published the research as a paper in the Journal of the Korea Society of Computer and Information. In addition, Director Seung-Shin Lee of the National Police Agency and Professor Yeom Deok Oh jointly published a paper in July 2025 entitled “A Study on Platform Design Technology for AI and Big Data Architecture Standardization.”
